Today I was going to post whether Bella was welcoming a little brother or sister in a few months but he/she did not cooperate as planned.
We are happy to report that the baby is healthy! We saw two hands, two arms, two legs, two feet, a strong beating heart, developing brain and all other other things Dr Wood recognized on the screen when we only saw blobs.
I’ll go back again at the end of the month and see if little baby J is ready to reveal his/her sex. If not, I’m considering (lightly) waiting until the baby is born. Sounds sweet but the reality of it may be more than I can handle.
How on earth could I properly plan a nursery without knowing if we’re having a boy or girl??
Enough baby talk … back to Bella’s World…
Bella is growing like a weed! She is so tall and can reach many more cabinets, tables and countertop. She likes to take food out of the snack pantry and bring it to me but recently found out how to open her food of choice & the packaging inside!!
Yesterday was my last day to watch “the girls”. I babysat Ansley & Kinley for the past month and now they’re on their way to daycare. We had a good time over the past few weeks, although I realized Bella needs to fine tune her sharing skills & tone down the jealousy a bit. All normal for a toddler, but we’re doing our best to help guide her.
Today I made B a sandwich and she actually ate it like a big girl! No pulling off the bread, cheese or turkey … just picked it up and ate like a a good little girl. It’s the small things that make me happy. :)
She also found my headphones and knew it put them in her ears … such a smarty. Funny how you don't think they pay attention to you but they are really soaking it all in!
This weekend is one we’ve been looking forward to for months!!! Kevin and Lacy are getting married in Fredericksburg and we’re spending the weekend enjoying the festivities and celebrating them!
Stay tuned for a full report on the weekend & I’ll share photos and details of how fabulous Bella will perform as the flower girl!!!
