Hello Santa!

I know it's a few weeks overdue ... but here are a few (of the MANY) photos from John's FIRST birthday party!!!!!! Happy birthday big boy!!

The party was an airplane theme, so we played a game where we each made an airplane out of supplies provided by Jen! FUN!

We don't know what happened. Sarah myseriously had a spot of water on her shirt then later in the party my dad had one too! :) Silly.

Earlier this week sweet Bella got sick. Grams took her to the doctor Monday when we realized something wasn't "right". They said she was fine & teething. That night she developed a fever, runny nose, congestion, horrible cough and cried ALL night!!

I took her to the doc Tuesday and they said she had croup. No fun!!

The doctor prescribed steroids and said to alternate between a steamy hot room and standing in front of the freezer to help open her throat. We have a freezer drawer so this is what we came up with. DON'T WORRY! I grabbed blankets and bundled her after taking this photo.

Bella was under the weather all week and is finally getting back to herself!

Today we celebrated Jeremy's Birthday & visited my Grandparents where we had a Christmas lunch and met Santa and his friends! They all flew in by helicopter to visit us!

Bella sat by Great Grandpa Chop Chop and she was amazed by his huge hands. :) They enjoyed each others company.

John was a big hit! Santa held him twice during the holiday songs!! Still not a happy camper ... she was SO tired by this point. What a trooper.

Grandpa Chop Chop was gracious enough to give a few extra pairs of sunglasses he had to Dad and Jeremy. Lucky ducks! Tyler didn't get a pair, but my Dad politely said he'd share his with Tyler. How sweet.

In other Bella news ... She now has 3-1/2 teeth! This is a horrible photo of her (sorry Bella!) but it shows the two bottom teeth, her top left tooth & the top right tooth breaking through.

And I'll end with a cute photo of our big stander. She's starting to pull up ... can get to her knees and sometimes stand all the way while pulling up on me.

She can hold onto the ottoman or couch and stand for quite a while and play .... or torment the cat. :)
