Bella has become much more aware of her surroundings & our furry babies! She thinks Purdy is hilarious and loves to grab her ears and fur. She tries to reach for the cats, but they keep their distance. Purdy loves Bella and is always laying next to her!!
Don't worry Dad, Purdy is very gentile with Bella and just likes to kiss & observe!
Bella is still sitting pretty ... or at least trying to. :) She's doing much better & can sit for 20 seconds or so without falling.
Bella has started twisting and "scooting" ... she thinks she's so funny! She started on her playmat ... then ended up here.
...and when she is on her playmat, she likes to use her legs and topple it over! She ends up like a little burrito baby and loves it!
... then she wears herself out, rolls over, sucks her thumb and takes a nice nap. :)
In other news ... Bella loves her feet!!
We're still working on Tummy Time. Here she is at her best ... however this isn't usually how Tummy Times goes. It usually involves more tears & and her face in the blanket. :( 
...still trying to roll over. That hasn't happened in a least a week. We decided today that we have a lazy baby! :)
Today, Daddy & Mommy took Bella to Babies R Us and Toys R Us for a Halloween costume, new spoons & new "big girl" toys! We got an adorable costume (although I'm keeping it a suprise !!) fun toys to help engage her while she's sitting & eventually standing AND new spoons. She still hasn't grasped the concept of eating cereal from a spoon. She won't open her mouth and makes a "yucky" face when the spoon is eventually pried into her mouth.

Once there was cereal on the spoon she wasn't as interested. So I tried using my finger to scoop cereal into her mouth. That seemed slightly successful ... but very messy! :) We'll keep trying and hope for the best!
I love the pics of Bella and Purdy, SO adorable! My nephew loves our lab too, it's so fun to see them interact. Bella is just so cute! Hope all is well with y'all!
ReplyDeleteSo cute!!! Lucas is not quite sitting up yet -- more of a 3-4 second thing before he starts leaning to the side :-) Can't wait to see the Halloween costume!!!
