flying high

Bella had a big first this week.

Her first airplane ride!

Actually her first four plane rides – ugh!

We went to California to see my beautiful Aunt Shelley. It was a difficult trip (to say the least) but I’m so happy we went and am glad Bella and my Aunt (aka Grandma #3) were able to meet!

Bella was such a good girl on the plane! She cried a little when the pressure was a bit much and her ears hurt (all of our ears were hurting!)

On the way home she slept … in my arms.

Bella also stayed in a hotel for the first time and LOVED room service! She was crawling all over us to get a bite of turkey (or anything she could get her little hands on!)

Along with meeting my Aunt Shelley, Bella also met some more of our family!

We got home from CA and Tyler had a birthday surprise for me! Beautiful flowers and gifts from him and Bella!

That cheered me up a bit … so the 3 of us celebrated my birthday at 12:03am on my actual birthday!

Bella and I spent some time with my grandma and we visited my grandpa who is in the hospital & had a delicious birthday lunch in the hospital cafeteria! :)

Later that night Tyler, Bella and I had a yummy dinner together!

In other news:

Bella eats bananas now! She only eats them if she can bite pieces off the banana.  She doesn’t like to eat cut pieces. Funny girl.

And we tried a new hair “style”. What do you think? HA!
